About Nepal: Nepal is a landlocked country in South Asia, famous for its towering Himalayan peaks, including Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain. Kathmandu, the capital, is a center of cultural and historical significance. Nepali is the official language, and the majority of the population practices Hinduism, with a significant Buddhist minority. Nepal’s economy is largely based on agriculture, tourism, and remittances from workers abroad. Trekking and mountaineering in the Himalayas attract adventurers from all over the world, while Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, is a key pilgrimage site.
